As a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, we develop and integrate the next generation of Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment systems that are based on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS). In addition, we are responsible for the Mercedes me companion app, we provide seamless & connected mobility experiences and we contribute to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) platform development. Your Mission


We are working on the next step in the evolution of the human-machine-interface between a Mercedes and its passengers. You will become part of the team that is connecting all the dots between engineering, business and delivery to bring the 'Best or nothing' App Store to those who matter the most to us: Our customers. We plan to combine the ease of use, the safety and the durability of the existing infotainment system, MBUX, with the flexibility of a whole portfolio of top tier third party applications. Many of which you and our customers will already know and love from your Android devices. You will be part of our quality team, which is tasked with ensuring that our project meets the high standards of Mercedes-Benz on all levels. Your specific task will be the automation and verification of our software in both unit and system tests on both emulated and real embedded systems, including actual cars. You should have the skills for test automation framework development , testcase automation and an analytical mind. Android Application Support for Linux and Android Apps Develop and maintain test automation infrastructure automate manual testcases ensure reliability and availability of test execution infrastructure work in an environment where every identified problem counts work hand in hand with the developers manual testes and UX experts.


Qualifikationen

Your Profile

Education



  • Degree in Technical Computer Science / Embedded Systems / Electrical Engineering / Vehicle Technology or a comparable field


Experience



  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Test Automation

  • Solid understanding of embedded systems and testing processes in automotive industry

  • Experience in developing test automation solution in Python/other scripting languages

  • Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)

  • Hands-on Experience in using Linux/Unix, Jira, Xray, Confluence

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, like Robot Framework, Squish, QT


Nice to have



  • Knowledge in C/C++ , Golang, Code Coverage tools, CI/CD and Jenkins

  • Hands-on Experience of Git, Gitlab,

  • ISTQB foundation level certification

  • Basic ASPICE knowledge

  • Basic knowledge about containerization, podman, docker, etc.
